Serena Hall has worked as a full time professional artist since graduating from Edinburgh College of Art in 1995. Originally from London, Serena moved with her family to Suffolk when she was twelve years old.

It was here, with the inspirational coastal views from her home in Southwold's Ferry Road, that she began to paint. In 1999 she opened her first gallery, relocating a year later to the bigger, and now well-established, Serena Hall Gallery in the popular seaside town.

Broad brushstrokes and a love of vibrant colour are typical of Serena's style, and her favourite subject matter is what surrounds her everyday - the seaside environment in which she lives. The harbour, town and coast all provide her with endless inspiration. She is also an avid collector of shells, vintage textiles, folk art and coastal paraphernalia which she often includes in her paintings.

Serena's original artwork is the creatve source behind the Serena Hall Designs Brand.
